I am so happy to hear that Buddy got to be a therapy dog at CSSW!! I am so proud of him (and his human too) for the work he does. I wish him all the luck in the world with doing his job!

Hi Nancy, If you go to any of the therapy dog web sites such as Delta Society or Therapy Dog International they will have the testing requirements so you can find out what tasks your little girl would need to master in order to become a therapy dog. Please let me know if you have any other questions. This is such great work that I hope many more dogs (and owners) become involved. Good luck.

I’m third on you list! I’m also interested in doing what you and your human do. i work here at CHW I have 4 children, one of them is a furry one like you, her name is Gracie and she is very loving, tenderhearted like you, she is so full of energy sometimes that’s not a good thing, and that is why I need to know what I need to do to train her.

I work for Children’s Medical Group and also have a therapy dog that works at a school weeklyn West Allis
as part of their reading program. We all LOVE it! She also visits two nursing homes in the Milwaukee area.
